We've used larger Mendota slip leads for dog handling for years. We now have a smaller dog that we are training for special duties and only needed a light lead. Once again Mendota has the right product for us, perfect for our training needs.

No more cotton?

I have loved Mendota leashes and have owned several over the past 10 years. I decided it was time for replacements and placed an order. Was I surprised when they arrived! Not cotton, but some slippery synthetic material. Very disappointing.

Best Leashes

These leashes are so well made! My dog is a puller and his first leash lasted 5 years. It finally gave out because of his abuse and we ordered a new one. I suspect if he wasn't such a puller it would have lasted another 15 years. Well worth the money.
