I ordered 2 of these new Freezebone toys to try it for my 2 huskies. Neither are super chewers so I wasn't too concerned. However, even by me fiddling with the top cover and bottom I did notice that the cover is the weakest point and probably won't do well and last attached to the bottom. I made a frozen yogurt with berries snack and froze it. The top came right off on a bounce from 1 dog and the other lasted about 1-minute until the top of the second came off. While the snack inside lasted only 15-minutes.
I love the fact that the bottom is heavy duty, it's dishwater safe, the rubber on the bottom prevents sliding and they are stackable. However, b/c of the top and it's construction, I feel that it's a huge safety concern for my dogs and doesn't last as long as it should nor does it last as long as the Pupsicles (frozen).

Love that it's lower frustration than the ball-sicle from another brand. Based on how thin the rubber is of the cross portion of the top of this Freezebrick, it is likely better that it is easy for dogs to accidentally "unlock" and remove vs. opting to chew through the top. This is not a product I would leave with any dog unsupervised, since the top would be easy to chew. I had thought this would be a bit sturdier.
I am using it mostly as the square alone after 5 uses by day 3.
I do love how easy it is to wash. My 17 mo old golden loves that she can just lick something that isn't wobbling and she doesn't have to hold onto to. I have a ton of frozen dispenser brands from my previous Golden who was an expert. Unless I'm watching my 17 mo old like a hawk, I can't use the lid with her. Great concept, likely works great for other dogs. She still loves it and we are using it a lot!
