Flagline™ Dog Harness with Handle

solid harness, attachments need more reinforcement

I really love the design of this harness, but it is not as durable as the Frontline harness. I need one that is more escape proof than the Frontline however and the lift handle is incredibly helpful and distributes weight better (so is more comfortable for the dog to be lifted) than the webmaster harness for Palisades packs that we use for backpacking. I prefer to leash up at the clip in the middle of the back because I feel like the one at the end of the back is too little control if my dog suddenly lunges or is trying to eat something he shouldn't. However, I've gone through several flagline harnesses now because of that clip popping off when my dog tries to chase an animal while tethered. So to anyone buying this, do NOT use that attachment point for tethering... Maybe don't tether from this harness at all. I suppose tethering is probably not an intended or tested use, but I am still surprised that it does not hold up to it and I hope ruffwear will improve the durability of the attachment clips on this harness in the future

Excellent for my deep chested, long bodied dog.

While my dog hasn’t embraced it wholeheartedly, he has been adjusting to wearing pretty easily. The stitching and fabric are quality construction. The multiple adjustment points were all very easy to work with but the buckles don’t seem as sturdy as the rest of the harness. Overall, extremely pleased with the Flagline Harness.
