Woodies Pew Pew Practice Rods

These Woodies Pew-Pew Practice Rods are great, especially if you need to lower your volume a bit. Since they are plastic, they tend to have a lot of whip action to the feel, but that's easy to get used to. Given that whip action, I would recommend using them to practice slower tempo material. I am very happy with the purchase and would recommend them highly!

I got a pair of 2B long nylon tips. They fill great in my hands. They fill solid, and well balanced. I've been playing for years and I now have a new favorite stick, believe me, I have used them all and this is the best pair of sticks I have ever had. I'm hooked and will be using Woodies from now on. I also got some pew pew rods, definitely well made. I just need to play around with them some more before I give them a solid 10 but a thumbs up for sure. Thank you Woodies for making a great product, I will definitely be spreading the word.

I tried playing with them in two different band situations and did not like the feel. they are to bendable and there's to much give. I play multi rods and different sized ones and these just didn't have the definition that most plastic multi rod sticks have.also I feel the base of the rod is a little to heavy because the rest of the stick is so bendable. I think your close to a really cool practice rod and I like supporting a mom and pop type company thanks
