Better than I thought!

This is my first pair of Scorpion sticks and I must say... I am pleasantly impressed. The sticks feel good and have a nice "crack" to them. The venom grip does take some getting used to though as I developed slight blistering after a 4 hour set. The fingers definitely need to adapt to the grip and when doing rim knocks the grip dip for some reason would leave a slight residue on my drum. No biggie though. I am enjoying this pair so far and want to try different pairs before creating my signature sticks. Thank you Scorpion Percussion!

What can be said about Scorpion Percussion that hasn't been said before? They are simply perfect. The feel. The balance. The quality. The durability. Everything. These drumsticks feel like an extension of my hands and allow me to achieve the desired sound in any musical situation. Playing as soft as possible or as heavy as hell, these drumsticks RESPOND. If you haven't tried Scorpion Percussion yet, you're really missing out.

First purchase

Overall the stick was fine, nice strong feel. I tend to flip my ride cymbal stick to play the bell of the ride with the butt end to save the tip from chipping. The end of this pair were more flatter and kind of ruff as far as the finish goes. Other than that I was happy with the overall performance/quality.
