Uno hoodie (PDF)

Great Pattern!

I'm very new to Sinclair patterns. A couple of weeks ago I needed a cheap cardigan pattern for something I was making for my sister, and I saw the free Harper cardigan pattern recommended on a external website. Colour me very intrigued when I got to the website and saw all the beautiful patterns. I made the Harper cardigan for my sister and was very impressed with how well it fit without any adjustments needed. I decided to try the Uno pattern for myself and I'm so glad I did. I'm now a Sinclair fan for life! I'm very happy with the hoodie I made with this pattern. The design reminds me of the hoodies I would see my raver friends wear in the late 90s early 00s. I'm 5'9" (175 cm) with a long torso and the length of this hoodie is exactly what I wanted it to be. This is the first top pattern I've made that I haven't had to make any adjustments (I always have to lengthen the torso and sleeves at least a few inches). So thank you so very much for including tall size pattern options!!! I'm about 2-3 sizes smaller in my bust than my hips. I've been losing a bit of weight and I wanted it to still fit if I were to be a size or two smaller, so I decided to do a straight size that agreed with my smaller bust measurements. It's still plenty roomy in my hips. There is a decent amount of ease so even though it's meant for someone with hips 4" narrower than mine currently are, I don't look like a sausage in it. Yay! And I can tell it'll still look good if I go down a couple of sizes. Overall, I would 100% recommend this pattern and Sinclair patterns in general.

Great fit for a cozy cowl top

I made my Uno from a heavier cotton French Terry, and added a cowl lining in polartec sweater knit. The result is a fabulous cozy sweater that keeps me warm and comfortable. The fit (especially across the shoulders and into the neck) is wonderful. Another great Sinclair pattern! I also made 2 more Uno tops in Polartec Power Grid for gifts, and they were an instant hit.
