Amazing basics pattern!

This is the base layer pattern I’ve been dreaming of. It’s super simple and flexible — I made the mock neck version, then hacked a second version into a scoop neck. Looking forward to making many, many more. I’d say the recommended garment size for your body is on the fitted side. This was my first time sewing with knits, so I didn’t have a feel for how much negative ease I’d prefer yet and just went with the size chart recommendation. Not bad, just a note for choosing your size!

Just what I wanted it to be!

This was a fairly simple pattern to follow and the sizing chart was great! I was between a 12 and a 14, so I sized up because I’m also not used to 1/4 inch seam allowance, and everything worked out great. Excited to try the sleeveless hack on the blog— this will definitely be a staple in my wardrobe!
