Leah Top + Dress

Summer's here

Ordered the Leah pattern as I wanted something easy to make, and wanting to get back into dressmaking again after making things for the house and campervan, what a delight to make this peplum top, next on my list is the midi dress

Really enjoyed making the Leah top. It was a quick make, made over 2 evenings. I sized down and made a size 4, despite being a size 5, going by my measurements. Only adjustment I made was to add 2in to the length as I’m 5ft 9. It fits perfectly and was a really satisfying make. Love that it’s as neat on the inside as on the outside!

So versatile, so many options!

I'm itching to get started on making something, anything from this pattern. I've got fabric, but I've just not had the time! Hopefully that will change soon otherwise winter will be here! I'm really excited to get starting. The patterns look lovely. As a confident beginner (I've made clothes for years but not improved with time!) I'm grateful for video tutorials too.
