Gigging with Helicore

I play 100+ gigs a year, as an 'itinerant entertainer' and not a concert violinist. I switched from Dominant to Helicore strings a decade ago. The reason is thus: 1. They come right up to tune and stay in tune when strung. 2. They last a long time, averaging 8 months. 3. They usually tell me when it's time to replace them, as the winding starts to breakdown. 4. Shar music has been my 'go to' for 30 years and is very reliable. (None the less, I always carry 2 violins for when a string breaks in mid-performance.)
