The previous strings (Pirastro Obligato) that I had for my violin were very nice; however, the violin did not sound quite as bright or speak quite as well as I would have liked. The Pirastro Evah Pirazzi strings are doing a magnificent job of improving the sound and projection of my instrument. I give these strings my highest recommendation.
