The peter Infeld A-tring is strong, warm, and resonant.

Excellent strings

PI are excellent, very long lasting strings. They do have a short break-in period, at least on my violin, where they “grunt” a bit. This goes away in a couple days. I play professionally, and have used Obligato, and Evah Pirrazi strings over the decades. I love the Obligato sound, but with stand partners that blast, they are just not loud enough. The Evah Pirazzi are super loud, and exceptionally shrill for the first couple weeks, and become false within three months or so. The PI strings are a good compromise. They have a pleasant sound, are loud enough, and are long lasting.
