ALPHA MINI POTS FOR GUITAR

These Alpha Mini pots are very useful when rewiring a guitar especially a Strat as, when also using a mini toggle switch to select different sides of a 5 way super switch - push-pull can be a pain to use instead of a simple on-on switch - there isn't much room left in the cavity for standard size pots such as CTS or Bourns. Though some claim Alpha pots not so good, they might not be the very best but personally I have never had a problem with them - AND they save a lot of space in the guitar body.

Stratocaster renovation

When renovating my Strat, I decided I needed to replace all three pots and ordered some (supposedly) direct replacements from a popular competitor. When they arrived, the thread length was almost double that of the originals and was smaller in diameter. The only thing that was correct was the resistance value! So, I ordered these from Northwest Guitars and they were exactly as described and fitted perfectly. Thank you.
