Really great - incredible ROM

I was a bit worried about buying a belt squat machine without trying it, as I really wanted something I could get the full ROM on and that seems to be a bit hit or miss on belt squat machines. I figured I'd buy it and use some platforms under my feet if I had to. I needn't of worried because the adjustments here - on both the belt and the machine - mean that I'm able to squat ATG without any issues at all. And I think most people will find that getting the full ROM won't be a problem. The build quality is great, and I was able to put it together myself without much issue at all. Strength Shop were also really helpful and lovely to talk to on the phone too. My two issues with this aren't deal breakers at all, but do knock a star off. The first being the platform is huge. I think in this price range being able to fit in a home gym has to be a consideration, and I guess I was expecting there to be an obvious reason why the platform is so big, but I'm not sure there is. The plus side is that it looks like adding a DIY platform wouldn't be a big job at all, so thats a fun side project to do at some point. The other issue being the middle pole where the handles join at comes quite close to your forehead whilst squatting. I think I'm far enough away to avoid any contact, but it's close enough that it has me checking my head position in relation to it whilst using it. Anyways, aside from that feedback, if you're looking for a reasonable priced belt squat machine, I'd definitely recommend this.
