Dust Collection Chute for Metabo/Hitachi 12" Miter Saw

Installation instructions were thorough and easy to follow. The dust collection chute works well, but the advertising led me to believe it would be even better. My only real complaint is that when you start your cut, the chute partially blocks the laser line, especially on any board more than approx. four inches wide. Otherwise, I am pleased with the add-on.

Installed on C12RH3, i wondered if it really was going to be any better than the original since it look almost the same design. It collects WAY more than factory dust collector. Doesn't get it all but close to it.

The modification was easy to install and worked great. It reduced the amount of dust around the back of the saw and collected the majority of dust coming off the wood. I use a simple shop vac with a dust separator and works great with the modification. It was worth every penny.
