Dust Collection Chute for Metabo/Hitachi 12" Miter Saw

This dust extractor has made a noticeable improvement on my Hitachi 12" miter saw and my shop. The dust level has decreased. It isn't perfect, but it does work pretty well and I am happy with my purchase.

This one change decreased the amount of dust flying away from the miter saw by a HUGE amount. Now it's minimal. At first I though...geesh, paid a lot for this tiny thing and I had to saw that bit off my saw to make it fit. I went ahead and this lady managed to modify and install the part easily. I have done a lot of sawing since the installation and I am absolutely delighted with the reduction in fly-away sawdust. Fantastic product well designed.

Works well with C12LSH, much better dust collection than stock or any of my modifications. This model requires you to remove a larger piece of aluminum. I used reciprocating saw with metal cutting blade
