Alto Saxophone French Cut

Amazing and 6/5

This reed has been fantastic. I switched off cane reeds for alto as I always felt I could not get the right feeling 99% of the time, until these reeds. I switched with the blessing of my college professor who said it was the best sound of mine he had ever heard on an alto. 6/5 if I could. The response is amazing and I’m so glad it doesn’t have the cane restrictions

French Cut a Winner

I have been a committed American Cut user on my alto saxophone and wanted to try the new French Cut. I found them to be very similar in dynamic range and responsiveness. The French Cut produced a slightly darker tone, but a casual listener probably couldn't tell the difference. In total you couldn't go wrong with either cut.

Nice, dark sound

I'm really enjoying the 3.5 French cut reed for my alto. Nice warm, dark sound blends well with group play, but also sounds great on solo parts.
