This reed is a very good addition to my collection. It actually produces a bit louder and brighter tone in my setup. (Jody Jazz DV/HR 6) I found the 2.25 to be a little too soft, but this 2.5 works well and will probably get better after breaking in.

Legere French Cut 2.5 (Alto)
The perfect concert band reed for me using a Selmer Soloist C**.
The inconsistency of cane reeds has led me to a breaking point (not to mention the price of a box).
I’ve tried Legere reeds in the past but was never able to commit to using them full time.
With Legere it’s no muss, no fuss; ready to go every practice or rehearsal with the same good results.

Pretty consistent!
I've been using the French cut 3.25 alto reeds for a couple of years now, and sometimes I notice little differences in the consistency of the reeds and how they play from reed to reed. It's very minor differences, but it's noticeable in how some of the reeds I've purchased have been a little fuzzier or given a little shallower tone. That's super picky, though. Overall, I'm very happy with my French cut alto reeds, and it's made my experience of playing so much easier and stress-free!
