Dust Collection Chute for Hercules HE74 12" Sliding Compound Miter Saw

I was VERY skeptical about how much better this could be from the OEM on my Hercules 12" compound miter saw. WOW! While it doesn't look that much bigger than the OEM dust collection the difference is amazing. Way less dust to clean up. I wonder if Harbor Freight is paying attention?

Works well for dust collection improvement. That said, the build quality needs to be better. Metal inserts need added to the 4 mounting screws as the plastic will eventually wear from threading and unthreading the screws. A need brought on by the fact that to remove/replace the blade the operator also needs to remove the dust collector since the dust collector v7 traps the blade.

Nice upgrade addition to the Hercules 12 inch miter saw. You still get the saw dust, but its not even close to what it was before the upgrade. Thanks for a very nice product. Joe W.
