Wilkinson WVS50IIK Tremolo Bridge for Stratocaster Guitars

I installed the Wilkinson WVS50IIK 2-point tremolo on my Fender Player Series Strat, and after adjusting the spring claw and pivot posts, it works perfectly. The trem action is smooth, tuning stability is solid, and the gold finish looks amazing on my guitar. At first, I thought it might not fit because the plate covered the trem cavity, but after a proper setup it floated just right — pulls up about a whole tone, exactly how I like it. Great quality and value for the price. Highly recommended for anyone upgrading or replacing their stock bridge!

Super tremolo, great value too

One of the nicest feeling and most adjustable tremolos I have tried. Great price too. This trem delivers excellent sustain, and with very low friction in operation it gives reliable return-to-zero. Obviously all trems need a good set up, and a Tusq nut will help too. I bought mine out of curiosity, and was very pleasantly surprised to find it’s one of the best functioning systems I have used. If you palm mute a lot, you will enjoy the fact that no sharp grub screws protrude from the saddles. These can of course be trimmed, in other systems, but this Wilkinson unit starts from a good place. Highly recommended in every respect - don’t imagine paying three times as much will get you a better result. It quite possibly won't!

As good as anything

I have a side business/hobby making bespoke guitars and I use Hipshot bridges because people are typically looking for high end components on a custom build. I have bought some of the 'own brand' equivalents from a curiosity perspective but they have not been great in comparison. This Wilkinson bridge seems every bit as good as any of the Hipshot stuff I have bought or installed so far.
