Make parenting fun again!
This bike is so satisfying to ride. It brings me pure joy to spend extended time with my kids outdoors. Much more fun than buckling kids in the car and driving to school, grocery store, playground, ice-cream etc. A+ to Aventon in customer support as well. A few highlights: - The bike rides very smoothly, and it is very powerful. Suspensions are great. - The kickstand is rugged, I can load and unload kids easily. I can even leave one kid alone on the bike for short durations as I pick something up - Turn radius is very small, and it helps in tight spaces. - The connected security features (password, kickstand lock, buzzer, GPS tracking, and warnings on the app) are very useful and not gimmicky at all. I am ok not locking the bike in many occasions. I would still lock for longer durations. - The accessories are extremely well built, tight tolerances and great hardware. Very fun to put together. - And it doesn't cost an arm and a leg...

Highly recommend Aventon and the Abound LR EBike!
I’ve been riding the Aventon Abound regularly for commuting and everyday errands, and I’m genuinely impressed — this version feels like a major step up. The ride quality is noticeably smoother and more stable. Power delivery feels more responsive and natural, and acceleration is strong without being jerky. It handles weight really well and feels balanced, which gives a lot of confidence in city riding. The build quality feels sturdier overall, and the refinements (display, controls, braking feel, and overall fit and finish) make it feel more premium and dialed-in compared to earlier models. What stands out most: • Excellent stability for a cargo-style bike • Strong but controlled power delivery • Comfortable geometry for longer rides • Practical and versatile for daily urban use It feels like Aventon really listened to rider feedback and leveled this one up. If you’re considering a cargo e-bike that can realistically replace a lot of car trips, this one is seriously solid.

Rack too wide for standard kid seat
Purchased as father of 2 kids. Wanted to put one kid on padded seat, install a kid (Yepp) for the second. Bad plan - the rack on the Abound LR is too wide for a standard kid seat, you have to buy the adapter. We'll see if when it gets here I can still fit the kid on the padded seat. Bad width defeats the whole purpose of a cargo bike. Other than that its a good e-bike so far - you pedal, it goes!. UI is mediocre but so be it. Setup was easy enough.
