Absolutely the most beautiful little Kyusu I've ever held in my hands. Fits adorably into the palm of my hand and loves to warm me up in this violent Canadian winter. The sencha saemidori I brew in this is just a level above anything else and Ive been brewing the same tea for over a year! The tokoname mogake clay deepens the umami and thickness of the tea, gives it a springy stone water and more yummy taste. AND the rich deep forest green pine and shadows from the extremely hot reduction wood firing kindly collaborates with the same deep green of the umami sencha brew, it just works together! And, if that wasnt enough, the raw feel of the un-polished clay, accentuates the masterful and graceful movements of Mr Katayama Hakusan's fingers as they sculpted this nugget of tokoname gold, the kyusu does it all. Interactive and tactile, petite and portable, handles masterfully, brews with excellency and shows itself off like the beating heart of the Japanese wooded coastal mountains, THANKYOU
