I’ve used the threading needle and reverse latch and they work wonderfully. These have allowed me to make fly line splices and reverse splice loops. Some day in the future I hope they make it so there is active control of the latch…now it’s simply a passive flip over of the latch and sometimes it flips back or doesn’t stay closed mid-pull…redos are not so much fun…
