Men's G4Z Waders - Stockingfoot

Being a guide I’m in my waders a lot and these are the first pair that when I got in them i could feel the quality and on the river not always waiting to feel that leek or wonder if I go threw this brush will they make it. Tough durable waders that are comfortable and I look forward to getting into every morning. I am 6’ 1” with 190 pounds size 12 feet and I got a large. They fit perfect in the feet and they are a little loose with shorts and a tshirt but not cumbersome or feel baggy and with sweats and a coat they fits great not to tight.

New improvements

I’m not sure what I think about the new mods to the g4z’s. Let’s start with the material, they seem lighter, like it’s not as thick and heavy fabric. Nice on hot days concerning about overall durability. Next let’s talk about the belt loop position change, the loops closer to the zipper are nice but I think you should have added one in the center of the back because it tends to fall down because I have my Leatherman and things like that on my belt. The zippers on the inside chest pockets don’t seem to stay closed very well but they reseal nicely when you cycle the zipper so I like that. I also appreciate the additional pockets on the other side. The tapering in the leg seems tighter than my previous pairs but I am not positive that I have the same size, I lost some bulk since my first pair and so my second pair was a little bit bigger than I wanted so my third pair I used the sizing tool online and I think I went with the bigger shoe size than recommended and I didn’t do that this last time but these are too tight on my feet. The last thing that I have noticed is the lack of boot cuff clip on the cuff it seems to stay put so far of but on my duck hunts I can see that being a problem because of the marsh grass I have to wade through. Overall I still love them I just want to give you honest feedback.
