Rig Wrap: Fly Rod Sleeve

These are perfect for the shortcut. Rod chairs seemed to tangle things and it was a pet peeve of mine with the shortcut. These are super easy to use and make loading/unloading rods easier! Might have to get the longer ones for my full length quiver next!

Better than anticipated

A must if your rigs are broken down into two sections for transporting in a rod vault. Keeps your rods fairly protected but keeps them tangle free. A simple idea but works great.

Mixed view

The Rig Wrap does obviously better protect the rod in my Quiver. My negative experience was that one of the two flies on a rigged rod with the line tight on the hook keeper got hooked in the mesh material. I’ve since resorted to putting chunks of foam on my hooks when using the sleeves because undoing the hook was a major headache.
