Turin DF83V Variable Speed Grinder

Excellent grinder, even better service

I paired the Turin DF83V with my Breville Dual Boiler and couldn't be happier with the upgrade. The build quality feels genuinely commercial-grade and solid, no rattling, and the 83mm flat burrs are noticeably faster and more consistent than the hopper-fed grinder I was using before. Retention is minimal, which makes single-dosing painless, and the variable speed control is a nice touch for fine-tuning grind consistency depending on the bean. Dialling in was straightforward, and the shots have come out noticeably clearer and sweeter since switching. It's quiet too, which I wasn't expecting from a grinder this capable. Alternative Brewing made the whole process easy, fast dispatch, well packaged, and no issues at all with the order. Would happily buy from them again. Highly recommend both the grinder and the supplier.
