An ideal intro grinder

Works really well, the “ideal” grind setting for espresso is not as stated in instructions, and you would have to test and dial it in yourself, depending on the beans. For quite a dark roast, I’m at a grind setting of 14 for a good extraction, but other than that it’s an excellent grinder!

Yes, grinding coffee can be fun

This machine is awesome. Super easy to use and you can tweak the grind by the milli-second. We are enjoying using it a lot and the coffee pours beautifully when you get it just right. Which is important when you’re using a name filter! Very happy with the purchase and the Alternative Brewing website made buying super easy. And the grinder arrived quickly (even at Christmas) and in great condition.
