SHOGUN Premium Sled Strap

Great product!

So glad I found this product. Much more comfortable and streamlined than my initial belt set-up. Makes my sled sessions more enjoyable and allows me to focus on the task at hand rather than adjusting equipment.

Durable, but maybe too much

I love it! The sled straps at my gym all broke from misuse by inconsiderate/incompetent peers. So I love the durability, and it's a relief to not have to wonder whether I'll be able to do my sled pulls or what sort of jury-rigging will be needed every day. If I could give some constructive feedback: it's over-engineered. Normally I wouldn't mind, but it's pretty heavy and takes up some significant real estate in my gym bag. The fail tension is 10 tons on the strap, and 1.5 tons on the carbiner - the human body isn't capable of that. At the very least, the strap could be downgraded to match the fail rating of the carabiner and be 1/3 the weight. Also, more of a personal preference, but it could also stand to be a little shorter - cutting from 8 to 6 ft would also help make it lighter.

Great Belt

I finally broke down and bought this belt after using the ratty stuff that they had at the gym. It is definitely well worth the price. The best thing is that is is really well made. It is several layers of nylon material, which makes it both comfortable and durable. It also comes with a small velcro strap that you use to wrap it up so it can be easily stored in your bag or locker when you are done using it. The long lead on the belt makes it unique. I don't usually bother writing reviews of products, but this belt is a cut above everything else that is on the market.
