Very nice
I’ve only had the opportunity to use the unit during what I’d consider the introductory stage\. So far, I’ve completed about 4–5 mini workouts, and my 13\-year\-old son has only done 2–3 sessions\. With baseball season winding down, I’m excited to spend a lot more time with it\. The biggest thing that immediately stands out is the convenience\. The compact size is honestly perfect\. It doesn’t take up much space, and because of that, it’s incredibly easy to walk by and knock out a few quick sets throughout the day\. I’ve wrapped it around a support beam in my basement to perform lat pulldowns and triceps extensions\. I also set it up around belt height for my son and used the single\-handle attachment to simulate baseball swings\. We’ve positioned it on the floor for curls, overhead presses, and full arm\-extension raises as well\. The versatility has been impressive\. For resistance, this unit definitely packs a punch\. Most of my exercises fall in the 7–15 resistance range, and even at those settings, it’s more than enough for a challenging workout\. I haven’t felt like I needed additional resistance yet\. One thing I have noticed is that at slower pull speeds, it can feel a little tight or slightly “glitchy\.” I’m assuming some of that is simply part of the break\-in period\. Once you find the right resistance setting and move at a smoother pace, the resistance feels much more consistent—especially during faster, cardio\-style workouts\. I do wish I had the complete setup to really compare everything and demonstrate it to my youth baseball team\. Adding the bench would open up even more exercise options, and I’m especially curious how the wall\-mounted track feels compared to using the strap around a support beam\. My son and I are still building our training plan—his focus is baseball performance while mine is archery strength and stability\. Even in these early workouts, I can already see this becoming a piece of equipment that’s easy to use multiple times a day\. It’s perfect for knocking out 3–4 quick sets to wake up your shoulders, lats, forearms, biceps, and other stabilizer muscles without committing to a full gym session\. I still feel like I’ve only scratched the surface of everything this unit can do\. My only real suggestion would be to include a large workout poster or exercise guide with the unit\. Having a quick visual reference of exercises and setup ideas would really help new users unlock its full potential much faster\. Overall, my first impression has been very positive, and I’m looking forward to putting a lot more hours on it over the coming months! I would love to partner with MaxPro to explore all they offer and share with my youth teams! We play over 75 games a season!

Its a decent product. I knew it didnt have resistance on the way down but i still bought for working out while travelling. There just isnt anything else out there. The next iteration should definitely have eccentric resistance but nonetheless a very cool product

Beyond Excellent in quality and performance
I am a Kickstarter backer and ended up getting 3 Maxpro Airs. I wanted one and my son, who is a physical therapist wanted one for home and one for his clinic. He specializes in knee and hip replacements and also treats patients with various injuries. He quickly found their usefulness and now has the three I ordered (1 home, 2 Clinic). I then went to MaxPro online to order another Air for myself. The positives are the steady pull, the ability to adjust weight in small increments, the attachments and while lifting (pulling), if you were to slip, there isn't a pull back. He is very happy with this feature due to the advanced age of some of his patients.... to ensure their safety. The last thing he'd want is to have the Air snap up at someone if their foot slipped off of the foot plate. However, he mostly uses the attachments until the 2 AirTracks are delivered. Overall: Excellent all around. Highly recommend.
