Exactly what I hoped for!

Installed the Gatekeeper H90 set in my guitar - a PRS SE Mira. It’s very much like an SG. The PRS humbuckers are nice enough - but something was missing. Not any more! I’m a guy who really likes the middle switch position using both pickups. The Gatekeeper H90s have that slightly nasal bite that I have only heard in a few guitars. It’s beefy and twangy at the same time. These pickups clean up beautifully with a slightly overdriven amp. The volume control on the guitar allows me to control the degree of dirt. It’s beautiful. With a lot of gain, these pickups are great. Plenty of power but with a lot more definition than the ‘buckers. Played clean, these can be sweet, smoky, or rude depending on pick attack and volume/tone control settings. An added bonus - the nickel covers are classy looking compared to the open coil humbuckers. Value-wise, this is money well spent. My guitar now has a slightly different attitude. Well done, Porter gang! I will try to post a video demo soon.
