As a high school Tech Ed teacher, I am always looking for ideas to inspire my students. These boards were made from pieces of firewood that was resawn down to 1” thick.

I have sold hundreds of these boards over the last couple years

The process is pretty straight forward. Trace pattern with template, cut close with bandsaw, flush trim wood with template, and pour. Most of my time has been spent learning about/experimenting with resin, tints, and wood species. Some of the nicest combinations have sold at a craft fair already.
