Christina Earrings

Every piece of jewelry is extremely lovely.

I know I was told that these earrings were genuine silver, but I was very disappointed to find that immediately upon putting them in my ears, my skin felt a burning sensation and my earlobes became more uncomfortable each day that I wore them. I tried cleaning them with both hydrogen peroxide and antiseptic skin wash to see if perhaps there was something on the silver causing a reaction. This did not alleviate the discomfort. I have worn earrings for decades without reactions such as this,, so I'm not sure what is happening. The above discomfort is so very disappointing because the earrings themselves are quite beautiful. I'll try again after I've given my ears some time to rest, but I'm not particularly hopeful that I will be able to wear these earrings.
