Love the freshness, love the taste
I purchased the corn sample pack and a few varieties of wheat berries. I've made cornbread from the Bloody Butcher and the Bkue Hopi corn - absolutely fabulous. I've used the Rouge de Bordeaux blended with Sonora wheat to make great bread, both sourdough and yeasted. The Rouge de Bordeaux is super flavorful. I don’t get cinnamon like some people do, but I do get earthy, nutty, and rich. It is now a favorite. And Barton Springs Mill is a great source for great whole grain products.

Yummy Rouge de Bordeaux Wheat Berries
I mill Rouge de Bordeaux Wheat Berries to put in just about everything. I put it in my bread and we especially like it in my FMF sourdough discard chocolate chip cookies!
