Yup, it's good

This was worth the splurge! I bought it when they re-released a limited addition color I was interested in after months of consideration. I switched from the Sephora brand metal dermaplaner to this. In full transparency, I mostly use it to save down my sideburns (as well as eyebrows and peach fuzz above the lip), which is not what it is intended for. However, I have found that irritation is minimal, but I should warn those who have experienced negative side effects, that with incorrect use and/or just super sensitive skin, this might not be the right product for you. I personally wouldn't use it all over my face with how sensitive my skin is. I also bought a 10-pk of blade and bald-guard refills with this, and think it will last me a year before needing to repurchase. Upfront cost was painful, but for the minimized environmental impact and long-term wallet savings, it was a good investment.

Great for tight areas.

Just to set this straight, I don't use this for what it is intended for. I needed something for my beard where I could get into tight places e.g., to get between my mustache and nose as well as to tighten up the line of my beard across my cheek. A regular razor has a blade that is just too wide and the head of a normal razor is too bulky to get under my nose. The Dermaplaner works wonders for this. It has a very narrow head and a low profile blade. it evens comes with a metal guard that can be used to shorten the length of the cutting edge to get into really tight areas. Worth every penny.

My skin loved it

I love the weight of it. Easy to load and clean. Took some getting used to when using but once I got the hang of it it felt so much more gentle and smooth than others I’ve used in the past. My skin felt so amazing afterwards and the glow of deep exfoliation lasted for days. Doing this before my normal skin regime was like getting a facial without the high price tag.
