This is a great product, and Leaf has great service! Great engineering is when you design a product that uses readily available materials to keep using the main product forever. In this case, the standard razor blades. Leaf could have designed a razor that would only work with proprietary blades sold by Leaf, but instead chose to do the "right" thing. I'll always remember that.

The OG triple blade Leaf is great
I went over board and grabbed the OG Leaf, Leaf Two, and Twig. Stand, shower hanger, travel case, and grips. I will be purchasing a Thorn when I have some extra funds. The Twig is my favorite out of the three. I have used all three with Leaf brand and Astra Superior Platinum blades. They are so close, but I think Leaf blades are slightly better. The OG Leaf is great going straight down side of the cheeks. You do lose some moverability and precision, but that was already known before purchasing and I don't think it is much diffrent than 5 blade cartridge razor. The Leaf Two shines for me with shaving against the grain. The Twig/Thorn's handle looked so ugly. Don't let that unsuspecting handle fool you. Some how it fits my hand perfectly. It is weighted perfectly. Paired with its fixed, single blade head, the Twig glides across my face effortlessly. So stupidly simple amd easy to use, it could be compared to a yellow/orange BIC Classic disposable razor while delivering a shave that could only be beat by a straight razor and skilled hand of a barber. I wish there was a stand for the bowl and brush. I keep knocking brush over and I have to go hunt it down.

CLOSEST SHAVE EVER!
Fastest, closest head shave I’ve ever had! First time single-edge user and so glad I switched. Even when I used brand new cartridge razors, going against the grain would always sting and give mild irritation. 10/10
