Leaf Two Razor

Doesn't work for me for face shaving, the Twig is better

I bought this strictly for face shaving, coming for one of the disposable multi-blade systems. I gave it an honest effort, but in the end, it turned out that this thing just doesn't work for me for face shaving. I can't easily get under the nose and frequently nick myself in the chin just below the lower lip. Tried multiple less aggressive blades to no avail. I can see how this is a good razor for body and head shaving, but I cannot recommend for the face. The razor overall is hefty and seems to be well designed. Just doesn't work for me shaving my face. I ended up getting a Leaf Twig on sale and it has been a much better experience shaving my face.

I know what youre thinking- “$100+ for a razor?! That seems steep.” Really if you think about it, its not. For the razor i was using, all you need to do is purchase cartridges 8 times to pay for it. Razors in general are not cheap. Within just the couple weeks ive had this, the red bumps/ingrowns/irritation that has plagued my underarms for years is gone. This razor is easy and safe to use with a design so similar to that of most razors! Beautifully (and safely) packaged, blades easy to load & you have the option to either use 1 or 2. Blades are affordably priced as well. This razor also has an extremely ergonomic design with a heavily weighted handle (weight of the handle does the work). And for anyone who is also on their low tox journey, all i use with this is my normal bar soap & a protective shave oil. I have not cut my legs once. Only area i could see this razor being slightly problematic with would be the genital areas- not a concern for me since i get waxed.

Dangerous, poor results

My wife’s three blade razor broke, I wrote you about warranty. It took you so long for you to get back to me I ordered a Leaf Two. After a lot of back and forth you comped me the Leaf Two. I wish now that I would have sent it back and accepted the 3 blade razor replacement. The first time I used the 2 I cut my head badly in two places. My wife is trying to use it, but has also cut herself under her arms and her legs. I tried using it a second time, again on my head, and got the worst razor burn I have gotten in years. The difference between the two different razors is hard to believe. I loved the idea of fewer blades and the design is beautiful, how you insert the blades, it looks great. The results are horrible. I don’t understand why you it ever got off the drawing board.
