It took a while to switch to shampoo bars, but I’m so happy I did! I have thin blonde hair that falls out due to chronic illness. I’ve used the Rice Water duo and already have hair coming back after a month! It smells amazing! And actually makes my hair clean without adding weight of oil. S

I only recently started to use the soap. Since I have short hair it doesn't take much to give a nice lather that doesn't make too much. While my hair feels good, I think I need more time to experience the full depth of this soap bar.

Absolutely NOT safe for color treated hair!

Was very excited to try this but not so happy with the results. After the first wash, my hair felt a little dry and my color looked faded. I thought it was just time to refresh my dye job, so I did a full recoloring and after three showers with only color sealant (no shampoo at all), I tried this again... THE WATER LOOKED THE SAME AS THE VERY FIRST SHOWER I TOOK TO RINSE OUT THE DYE!!! That alone made the negative effects of this bar pretty obvious but after letting my hair air dry, the fresh color was noticeably dulled and the strands were so stripped of moisture that they were almost frizzy. (As a side note, I used the Kitsch Shea Butter conditioning bar too, seemingly to no effect.) Slathering my whole hair in coconut oil seems to have repaired the dryness but unfortunately 8hrs worth of work that should have given me 6mos of vibrant color went, literally, down the drain.
