We are zone 3b and got our elderberry and willow cuttings in early March. They arrived in good shape and seem to have survived a couple weeks of being in the cool garage. They have now been planted according to the insights given here. I question the varieties of the cuttings, however, since several indicate zone 4 & 5. I guess we'll see what happens in the months ahead.
