We built it with a similar fit, but used a lighter fabric and removed the knee pads - this will keep you cooler during hot early season hunts and reduce the bulk of knee pads for easier hiking. New favorite field pants

Gave these a shot as they were on sale. Will be getting more for sure. Using them in the field is a no brainer, but I've also used them under waders fly fishing which I always hate having pants that are to rigid and restrict movement in the water. Wore them to two different sporting clay shoots and again the movement and fit were great. Will be getting more of these.

Great Pants

Usually wear 36” jeans but 38” fit perfect in these pants. Plenty of pockets. I think they will fit the bill for elk hunting this season.

outstanding pant

The XKG draft pant was budget friendly but performs including comfort of hunting pants 2x the cost I paid. Very happy so I ordered another in a different pattern.
