Quick and free shipping--Fantastic service. Mashers are 7.4oz compared to 6.3oz of others varieties from Peak Refuel. Loaded up on these for an elk trip due to the total calorie count. Probably very similar cal/oz to other varieties and should have factored that part in. Either way 5 out 5. Taste TBD but other Peaks are unmatched.

New favorite

I’ve tried all kinds of freeze dried meals, and can’t say I’ve ever particularly “enjoyed” them. Peak has raised the bar on what freeze dried food can be. My wife and I spent 10 days in the backcountry in September and found ourselves looking forward to trying the next item on the menu. The bison mashers were great, very hearty and filling. Her favorite was the chicken coconut curry. Needless to say we’re phasing out our collection of some more well known brands and stocking up throughout the year on all the flavors of Peak Refuel.
