I bought this bundle about a year ago just getting into the Tenkara space and have absolutely loved everything about it. I have caught countless panfish and bass on my Tenkara and I wouldn't change a thing about it. Unfortunately, I ended up dropping the cap to my rod tube down a storm drain and Rocky MTN Tenkara had unmatched customer service. They immediately got my replacement cap in the mail the next day and even threw in line specifically for the chupacabra rod and a cool pin. Excited to try out the new line and so happy I went with this company for my Tenkara, will be buying more from them in the future.

This rod is in the Goldilocks zone for me. Not too long, not too short, not too stiff, not too soft.. the softer action makes casting simple with level line, and beautiful with something heavier. The rod itself is gorgeous and durable. The satin black with gold accents makes this one of the most esthetically handsome rods I've seen so far in the Tenkara realm. This rod is so well rounded, that I gifted it to my father for his first Tenkara rod, and now I need to buy another one because I miss mine.
