Autumn in high mountain streams out west where it's often windy. Then, when the wind dies down, I usually switch to a tapered Tenkara nylon line for a softer dry fly landing and what seems to be an endless drag-free drift. And then I can imagine what it feels like to be a skilled fisherman, which I am not.
