My favorite small stream rod…
I have found the Mizuchi to be the ideal small stream rod. Easy to use in tight places, and handles dry flies and bead head nymphs well. It also has the backbone to handle the occasional larger fish in medium sized streams. Great rod!

Mizuchi - a one rod quiver
I added the Mizuchi to my quiver of tenkara rods (including the Kaida and Hellbender), but after using it on High Uinta rivers and lakes I think it will be my everyday go to rod. The nine foot length was easy to cast with accuracy on the small rivers and was playful on 4-7 inch brookies and easily handled 12-16 inch cutthroat, even in fast water. The eleven foot length was great for small lake fishing and handled the wind and 14 - 17 inch tiger trout easily but still a bit of a challenge and fun! My sister is new to tenkara and she was able to quickly learn how to cast with this rod and catch a number of really nice fish. Thanks for developing and providing us with a really nice rod!

The Do it All Tenkara Rod!
Been out several times with this rod and it is awesome! I also own the Shadowfire, which is great for more open waters. The Mizuchi excels on small streams! The triple zoom feature is an absolute game changer when things get tight on the river! Well done Dragontail!
