I’ve been fly fishing for a year. I’m new to tenkara. I got this thing for the small creeks and rivers here in Northern New Mexico, so far I’ve been able to get it out twice and I’m impressed with how sensitive this thing is-you definitely feel that strike! it’s handled 9” browns and rainbows just fine. I got it for my bike packing kit but I keep using it instead of my other fly rods. Something about the simplicity when you’re chasing the sunset and having to get rigged up, this thing is Listo! Ready to rip! The bag is super cute, too, thanks for making an amazing product! Might need a Chico or a Rio soon. Peace
