Aventon Abound Handrail

Only one drawback

I absolutely love this bike for trails and passengers including my terrier puppy! However, I do wish it has less RPM's as even in the highest gear, I am pedaling twice as much as others with a different model. It makes it very hard to keep up with other cyclists on the road when going any kind of distance.

Good quality and safe for kids, too big, expensive, with design flaws

Several good and bad things about this accessory. It’s too expensive for what it is. Between this and a seat pad, you spend $200. It’s of good quality, and it serves the purpose of keeping your kid safe and comfortable. But it’s too hard to have a kid over 7-8 years old getting in and out of. I don’t know how Aventon did not design this to have one side of the rail coming down (like in amusement parks) to allow someone sitting, and then bringing that side up. Also, I find it too wide.

Great size

Fits our two young boys perfectly with enough room for them to move around while safely confined in the cage.
