- THE ANDREONI BAR ™ - Cable machine attachment that replaces multiple bulky expensive gym machines.

I bought the Andreoni Bar specifically to do pullovers and it works great. I do three varieties - seated, facing away from the cable machine using the high pulley (this is the closest thing out there to the old Nautilus pullover machine version), lying on my bench using the low pulley, and standing partially bent over facing the machine (like a sort of lat prayer). In case anyone is wondering, I have an old school cable tower not a functional trainer and the Andreoni bar works fine. There are a couple of ways to do it - simplest is to get two extension cables 20-22" long each from Amazon and a couple of carabiners, the better but slightly more involved way is to get two extension cables 9-10" each + swivel shackles + carabiners + a multihole bar (like the Gympin D Handle Bar or the Darko Longy Bar), connect the swivel shackles to the Andreoni, then the short cable extensions from there to the multihole bar, then the multihole bar to the main line.

The Andreoni Bar is excellent for chest-supported rows. Its unique shape provides clearance around the chest pad, allowing a deeper range of motion and stronger contraction than a traditional straight bar. The multiple grip positions are a huge bonus for targeting different areas of the back. Great addition to my home gym.
