Frida Shirt

I had trouble getting started because I was overthinking. I am very happy with my Frida shirt and plan to make more. The directions were easy to follow and the videos were so helpful! I’ve been sewing for a long time and I actually picked up some new skills. I can’t wait to make more of my capsule wardrobe! Thank you Modern Sewing Co.

I managed to make an overshirt !

You have to watch really carefully and follow the instructions exactly ! I missed a couple of things and had to re do the front bit and the collar. Which was a pain. This is my 1st go at this and I did the overshirt. Which I somehow managed to do ! I'm going to try another one. Learning new skills !

First of all the workshop videos are well paced, very well photographed and informative. I love the calm demeanor of the host. I have been sewing my own garments for many years. I learned some new techniques and feel I have improved my knowledge and skills about garment making. I made the overshirt with vintage tea towels and added a double collar. The patterns are very accurately drafted and easy to size as most are not very fitted.
