Had a little bit of trouble

I absolutely love your video tutorials. I go over them step by step over and over. I am definitely learning new skills which I love! I will say I have had a fair bit of trouble with the worker trousers in the zip fly area. I had to go to another makers video for the zip fly. Another area I struggle with is the sizing. I take my measurements, make a toile, and can still have a disappointing fit. I do think that is a "me" problem though. I am not quitting though! I really want to whip up my own jeans and blouses! Keep up the great work Hetti. Your work shops are perfect for those of us that need a little more visual. Donna

What a great way to gain skills, using the workshop and the paper instructions, which give a bit of choice in some places. I used a lovely lightweight wool tweed (£6 bargain in local sewing shop) and had good fun finding odd buttons for the fly which I am especially thrilled with. You are so right Hetty, that the little hidden extras are worth it. Really good pattern too, tweaked a tad to make less roomy on my hips. Looking forward to twill and corduroy options next.
