Numa Maximus (9mm)

Love these!

These are my first barefoot sandal. I switched to Lems tennis shoes and Chelsea boots over the winter, but I needed a new sandal. I’ve worn flip flops and Chacos. I was excited to try out the stretchy straps and they didn’t disappoint. I printed out the sizes and it fit perfect. These sandals are easy to slip on and off, hands free. They’re comfortable, secure, and easy to adjust. I have one complaint that makes them 4 stars and I have to send them back (oh no!) despite wearing them for a while and trying my best to deal with it. Where the heel strap comes down and connects to the sole is too narrow for me or in the wrong position. I step on it underfoot and it’s just not comfortable. Short distances are fine (even though you feel it the whole time), but I can’t do it long term and I plan on wearing these alll spring, summer, and a lot of fall. I can’t hate on them though. They’re a great sandal. They said they can do a custom wide width, so maybe I’ll look into that.

Super comfortable, I can do anything with them and I also run around with them without the powerstraps with no trouble, powerstraps do add stability sensation for longer runs ! They do have a more outdoorsie look but you know this when ordering them :D !

Nice sandal but frustrated

I have multiple pairs of Shammas - Maximus LE, Alpha Trailstars, and now the Maximum Numas. I was drawn to the Numas for the slip on ability being pregnant and newly postpartum this summer. However, the Numas buckle came broken. Customer service did offer to send me a new heel piece that I’d have to fix myself with pliers or send them back and they’d send me a new pair. However, they were slow to respond and the whole process to get a new pair was long and frustrating.
