Nakiri Knife is awesome !

I love the size, sharpness & overall ease of use of the Nakiri. My only problem is it made me realize that my other 2 favorite knives really need to be sharpened!

Very easy to use. I had to be careful with the sharpness of the point at the handle end. Seems to be of good quality, though.

The updated design of the Nakiri is a complete miss. I have the original and love it. Milk Street got the blade geometry of a nakiri right, something that so many others miss. However, the new textured handle is terrible. It feels cheap, not grippy. The rivets holding the handle to the tang aren’t flush and again make it feel cheap in the hand. The new handle hides the full tang of the original, and not that I’m looking, full tang isn’t listed as a design feature anymore - another clue to the cheap construction. I got this during a 50% off sale and I am still returning it. It is unuseable and ungiftable. Such a disappointment.
