New M61HOT v2 (version 2)

I just recently purchased an MDX2 M61HOT V2 Flashlight in July 2025. It also has the high/low ring installed. As personal preference I prefer the Cree XP-L HI LED that this light uses over the SST-20 LED the M61 variants use. Before I purchased this light I have been using for several years the M61Hot version 1 which was designed for one 18650 or two CR123 batteries (3. 7-6v). This restricts the light to a 2 cell body. Version 2 is more versatile as it has a larger voltage range (3. 8-9v). I now have much wider battery options of one or two 18650’s or two to three CR123’s. This gives the user the ability to use it on a 2, 3 or 4 cell body. I prefer using the 3 cell MD3 body but using the 4 cell MD4 with two 18650’s give fantastic runtime and output.

I’m very fussy and only buy quality This thing is quality so I now have 4 Malkoff lights and will be buying more. I will be a lifetime user and feel I can hand these down to my kids Perfect output vs runtime
