This Hound Dog Super light exceeds all expectations. It is the undisputed king of my other very good outdoor flashlights. Here in Tennessee even with all the leaves off the trees I have not found a distance (or an animal) I can’t illuminate. And as a fisherman this will come in quite handy on a big body of water. I plan to take it to Canada later this year. I like the overall feel and total ruggedness as I am often rather hard on equipment. I am continually amazed at the throw but I also appreciate the simple low power option when doing routine tasks. I cannot recommend this light enough. And that sheath makes it easy to carry. And I love dealing with such a great family owned company with real customer service. In this day and age it is a real benefit to be able to talk to the owner/ designer if needed. But more importantly I don’t think there is a higher quality flashlight out there. Thank you Mr Mallkoff for this fantastic light!!
