Works as expected. I have two MDX2 M61HOT V2 flashlights. First I bought several weeks ago and i use two CR123As in it. Bought a second with the spacer added (shipped that way - thx Malkoff) and have an 18650 in it. Both work great, but for purposes of this review, the spacer makes the 18650 a perfect fit.

It works perfectly if you want to use a protected battery in your MDX body. Easy to install and remove when not needed. It's a great addition to your mdx light purchase. A very useful piece.
